How do I pick a team?

Study the player list and choose 11 players. You must choose:

5 batsmen
1 wicket keeper
1 all-rounder
4 bowlers

How much do I have to spend on the team?

You will have a maximum of £2.70 to spend on your team

What games count?
 
All Saturday and Sunday games of the season count, starting from 8th May.
Cricket week, cricket tour and all other mid week games do not count toward the players' scores.
 
How do I score points?
 
Fielding:
Each catch taken: +5
Each stumping: +20

Bowling:
Each wicket taken: +20           New this year (10 points in 2009)
Each 10 runs conceded: -1
Each Maiden bowled: +1        New this year 
Bonus for 5+ wickets in the match: +20


 
Batting:
Each run scored once above 10 (unless not out): +1 per run
Scoring less than 10 (dismissed): -5 (does not apply to players listed as bowlers)
Duck: -10 (applies to all players)

Bonus for 50+ runs in the match: +20
 
Star man:
Voted man of the match by the captain: +10
 
Can I have transfers?
 
You are allowed a maximum of 2 transfers during the season, which can be made at anytime during the season.
 
You will retain the points earned by your previous player, but will only start collecting points on your new player once the transfer is confirmed.
 
Your transfer can not exceed the £2.70 allotted to your total team cost.
 
How much does it cost?
 
It will be £10 per team entered. You can enter as many teams as you like.
 
Prizes will be awarded to the best three teams at the end of the season.
 
How do I enter?
 
Fill in the entry form and either hand/email it to Alex (with your £10 entry fee) or leave it behind the bar, either way all entries must be with Alex (including money) by  10pm on 8th MAY 2009
 
No money, no entry, no exceptions!
