It is assumed that unless you are notified during the week by either the team captain or Team Secretary that you will play in the same XI as the previous Saturday or Sunday.
Teams for the weekends will be selected on the preceding Tuesday evening at 8pm.
It is the duty of all cricket members to contact the Team Secretary immediately if they are unable to play after selection.
Friday night and Saturday morning drop outs are unacceptable unless for a valid, unavoidable reason. Players who drop out on either a Friday evening or Saturday morning without an appropriate reason will not be selected to play for the following weekend.
It is expected that all players, without fail, will settle their match fees in full immediately after the game. Failure to comply will result in non-selection for the following weekend regardless of availability.
Only in very exceptional circumstances, with prior agreement from the appropriate team captain before the commencement of play, will this requirement be waived. In this eventuality the outstanding match fee must be settled in full PRIOR to the Tuesday evening selection meeting.
All playing members must be at the ground at least 30 minutes (ideally 1 hour) before the game is to commence as a minimum. Where team warm ups and ground preparation is required players must endeavour to arrive in sufficient time to take part in these activities in line with direction from the appropriate team captain.
Cancellation of games will be posted on the notice board at the club as soon as possible. It is the duty of all members to establish whether a game is cancelled.
